PSG time wasting, injury simulation gets on nerves of Chelsea boss

Chelsea's Jose Mourinho hit out at Laurent Blanc's Paris Saint-Germain in the wake of Wednesday night's Champions League clash.

The French side got the better of the Blues at Stamford Bridge by holding the home side to a 2-2 draw which allowed them a pathway through to the quarter-finals by virtue of away goals after a 3-3 aggregate draw.

After Thiago Silva looped a lovely header over Thibaut Courtois in the 114th minute of the extra-time clash, Mourinho felt PSG resorted to unsportsmanlike tactics to finish the job.

"For example, after they scored their second goal there was no more game," he told Sky Sports.

"Time to celebrate, simulation of injuries, make a change… they stopped completely the game which we could not do when 1-0 up with five minutes to go.

"I think it's the beauty of English football but when we go into continental football the other teams are more prepared from a mental point of view. I don't say dirty because that is not the word. I would say it's a great part of the game."
