Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson faces being gazumped by PSG for Napoli star Marek Hamsik.

Hamsik has been a long-term target for Ferguson since his days with Brescia and had brother and chief scout Martin Ferguson watch the Slovak regularly last season.

However, its emerged Hamsik is now on PSG's shopping list for the January market.

Having already signed the likes of Javier Pastore and Kevin Gameiro, PSG are already looking towards the January transfer window and the chance to add some more talent to their squad.
