PSG join Man Utd, Everton battle for Kieran Trippier

PSG are eyeing Atletico Madrid fullback Kieran Trippier.

The Athletic via Le 10 Sport reports Atletico are seeking to secure Trippier to a new contract, with his current deal running to 2022.

However, the England international is a wanted man.

His former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino wants him at PSG, while Everton are also in contact.

And Manchester United see Trippier as healthy competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Trippier is in his second season with Atletico, where he is firmly established as a first-choice for coach Diego Simeone. Indeed, Simeone is adamant Atletico must keep hold of the right-back.

After serving a betting ban midseason driven by England's FA, Trippier's return to the first team has coincided with Atletico strengthening their grip on the LaLiga leadership. With one game to play, Atletico sit two points ahead of second-place Real Madrid.

So far this term, Trippier has managed 34 appearances and produced six assists.
