French giants Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be showing significant interest in FC Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala.
Manchester City were in pursuit of the 23-year old French centre-back last month but were unsuccessful when attempting a £35million double swoop of he and Porto teammate Fernando.
City are reportedly keen to return for both Mangala and Fernando in the summer but it is being suggested that PSG may provide some healthy competition for Manuel Pellegrini's side at the end of the campaign.
