PSG have raced ahead of Leicester City and Southampton in the pursuit of Nice winger Hatem Ben Arfa, according to French outlet RMC Sport.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas yesterday claimed that Leicester were inching closer to securing ad deal for the former Newcastle United man.

However, according to the latest report, Ben Arfa favours a move to French giants PSG over a return to the Premier League.

The 29-year-old, who struggled with disciplinary issues during his time in England, resurrected his dwindling career by netting 17 goals and providing six assists in 34 appearances for Nice last season.
