Manchester United and Liverpool will do battle for the services of Memphis Depay according to reports.
L'Equipe suggests that French giants Paris Saint-Germain have pulled out of the race for the £25million-rated PSV Eindhoven star as they cannot afford him under Financial Fair Play regulations.
PSG's decision to opt out of the running for Holland international Depay, 21, leaves United and Liverpool as the frontrunners to land him in the summer.
It is widely reported that Depay, who leads the Eredivisie scoring charts, is likely to make the move to the Premier League at the end of the European season - one which has brought him the Dutch title - and plenty of interest in the process.
