Arsenal will continue to monitor the progress of Paris Saint-Germain defender Mamadou Sakho according to reports.
The 20-year old Frenchman is a player that interests Arsene Wenger greatly and he will be alerted after contract talks between PSG and the player broke down.
The Gunners boss will follow Sakho throughout the remainder of the French Ligue 1 season, in which he has so far appeared 19 times for the second-placed side, and may make a move for him in the summer.
Wenger is likely to watch Sakho play for France on Tuesday if he is given a start by Laurent Blanc who also called up Gunners centre-half Laurent Koscielny for the Brazil friendly at Saint-Denis' Stade de France.
