PSG defender Marquinhos admits Manchester United's wayward finishing was a key factor in victory last night.

PSG won this Champions League clash 3-1 at Old Trafford to keep their qualifying hopes alive.

Marquinhos said, "We entered the locker room, we had the plan of going forward to play more and to have personality. We started the match well and then we lowered the intensity.

"They had to come out too and they pushed more. We knew the details would make the difference. In the second half, we tried to go further forward, to take risks.

"Fortunately they did not manage to score from their chances, we made our own, it's football."
