PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti still fancies swooping for AC Milan star Alexandre Pato.

Milan had agreed terms with the French side last week only for the striker and President Silvio Berlusconi to pull the plug on Thursday afternoon.

"It was a strange tale and there's something in there that we don't know about," commented PSG Coach Ancelotti in the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"As for the future, we'll see. I can certainly say that we won't discuss it any more in January."
