PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti admits they were disappointed not to sign Manchester United and Real Madrid legend David Beckham.

Beckham chose to stay with LA Galaxy.

"The club tried to reach an agreement with Beckham, but I was not here," said Ancelotti, who took up the PSG reins two months ago," said Ancelotti.

"I was not involved in this thing, and I think they were very close; Beckham was told to come here, but at the end decided to stay in Los Angeles to play with Galaxy.
