Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has revealed they'll hold transfer talks with Roma this week.
However, Preziosi ruled out moving for Roma attacker Julio Baptista.
"On Thursday my men will also talk to Roma," he said. "However, we are not interested in Julio Baptista because the arrival of Toni means we do not need the Brazilian.
"I think there could be deals with the Giallorossi but a direct exchange between Alexandre Doni and Marco Amelia is unlikely.
"Of course I like Daniele De Rossi but I also like Matteo Brighi for instance. We also need to sort the co-ownership deal regarding Leonardo Bonucci.
"We can talk about him with other clubs and work on new potential swaps because I can't see much cash around."
