Preston North End are moving for released Bolton Wanderers striker Kevin Davies.
The Daily Mail says Davies, 36, was released after 10 years at the Reebok last season.
He has been targeted by Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland, but is interested in signing for a club closer to his home.
