Preston's Kilkenny eyeing another Man Utd scalp

Preston North End midfielder Neil Kilkenny has his sights set on another surprise win over Manchester United.

The League One Lilywhites are through to the final 16 of the 2014/15 FA Cup following Tuesday night's 3-1 victory at Sheffield United which has set up a home meeting with the Premier League's Red Devils.

29-year old Australian Kilkenny was part of the Leeds United side, then in League One, which defeated United in the third round of the 2010 edition of the famous cup and is now looking to repeat the dose when Preston host Louis van Gaal's United at Deepdale on February 16.

"We went there and no one really expected much," he told thefa.com.

"We were confident going into the game, with the same manager we have got here. He let us play and we went out there and showed what we could do.

"We took 8,000 fans and it was a fantastic day.

"It was a massive upset and hopefully we can do it again this time.

"Hopefully we show no fear. No one will be expecting much from us, but we know we have got a good team so we are all looking forward to it.

"Deepdale will be full and we will all be looking forward to it. Hopefully we can play with no fear like we did against Sheffield United."
