Preston midfielder Welsh loves idea of dumping Man Utd out of FA Cup

Preston North End skipper John Welsh loves the idea of dumping Manchester United out of the FA Cup.

Welsh, a boyhood Liverpool fan, revealed he can not be held responsible for his actions should he net a winning goal against United.

He said: "Everyone knows of the rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester United, it's going to be a great game, I'm really looking forward to it.

"I can't be held responsible for if I score the winner, so if it's me that scores the winner in the 92nd minute then anything could happen!

"It's really exciting times and I'm sure it's exciting for Preston North End fans who are seeing this game.

"We believe it's a winnable game, any games winnable no matter who you're playing or who you're coming up against. We've seen Cambridge give them a game at home so it's definitely a winnable game.

"It's going to be tough, we're going to need eleven players to be playing really, really well to get anything from the game and I think we've got that in us to do it."
