Preston goalkeeper Andy Lonergan admits he could put himself in the Premiership shop window in today's FA Cup clash with Chelsea.
The 26-year-old's outstanding form has been attracting attention from Blackburn, Stoke, Tottenham, Bolton and Burnley, says The Sun.
Lonergan's ambition is to play in the top flight and keeping a clean sheet against the Premier League leaders would help him show he has what it takes.
He said: "I watched highlights of the match against Sunderland and their keeper did well to lose only seven.
"The Championship tends to be an end-to-end league, so I'm used to being busy. I expect it will be the same against Chelsea.
"The chance to prove myself against the very best is a huge challenge. I'm a perfectionist and even if I have what some might consider a perfect performance, I will find something that needs improving.
"I want to be the very best I can be, so facing some of the best in the world is a challenge I relish."
