Preston boss Ryan Lowe has dismissed the possibility of securing Jarell Quansah on loan.

The Deepdale club already have Liverpool youngster Calvin Ramsay in their squad this season.

There was speculation that Quansah, who the Reds may want to loan out for regular game time, could be joining him.

"I don't know where that came from, to be honest," Lowe told the Lancashire Evening Post.

"Quansah is a fantastic player, but I don't see him going out from Liverpool anytime soon.

“If he's playing in Europa League games. He will probably play tonight! So again, I don't know where it came from. But, he is a quality player, yeah."
