Preston North End boss Darren Ferguson has cooled talk of a move for Manchester United winger Gabriel Obertan.
The Frenchman was in attendance at Preston's 1-0 win over Portsmouth at the weekend and has yet to feature for United this term.
However, Ferguson Jr has not even discussed the possibility of signing the 21-year-old and doubts the former Bordeaux youngster is available for loan.
"That's one we've not even spoken about," said Ferguson in the Lancashire Evening Post.
"He's in their first-team squad, there's no chance."
