PREMIER LEAGUE WRAP: Blackburn stun Arsenal and there are also wins for Premiership new-boys Norwich, QPR and Norwich.

Blackburn twice came from behind to triumph 4-3 over Arsenal at rain swept Ewood Park, helped by two own goals from the visitor's.

Gervinho gave Arsenal an early lead only for Ayegbeni Yakubu to level for Rovers with his first goal for the club.

Arsenal restored their lead before the break through Mikel Arteta.

The first of Arsenal's two own-goals arrived just after the restart as Alex Song allowed a free kick to hit him and trickle over the line.

Steve Kean's team then took the lead as Yakubu got his second of the afternoon, followed by another own goal from the unfortunate Laurent Koscielny.

Marouane Chamakh headed home Robin Van Persie's cross late on. And Theo Walcott almost nicked a leveller at the death but Rovers held on to lift themselves off the bottom of the league and move above Arsenal.

It was all square at Villa Park as Aston Villa and Newcastle drew 1-1 in a keenly fought contest.

Gabriel Agbonlahor gave the home side an early lead but Leon Best levelled things for the Magpies 10 minutes into the second half leaving both sides still unbeaten in the league this campaign.

Swansea eased to their first ever Premier League success with a 3-0 home win over a disappointing West Bromwich Albion. The Swans had scored their first goals of the campaign by the break with a penalty from Scott Sinclair and a Leroy Lita header.

Nathan Dyer added a third shortly after the break lifting the South Wales outfit out of the bottom three.

In the North-West derby Everton beat Wigan 3-1 at Goodison Park thanks to late goals from substitutes Apostolos Vellios and Royston Drenthe.

Wigan had taken a first-half lead through Franco di Santo but the Toffees quickly levelled from Phil Jagielka's header and that is the way it stayed until the Goodison late-show.

Norwich scored twice in the first-half at the Reebok Stadium against ten-man Bolton, then held on after the break when the home side pulled one back from the penalty spot for a 2-1 win, their first of the season.

Anthony Pilkington scored in the 37th minute then Bradley Johnson doubled the Canaries advantage just before half-time.

The Wanderers were reduced to 10 men just before the break when Ivan Klasnic was sent off for an apparent headbutt on Marc Tierney.

The home side rallied and won a penalty in the second half which Barnett Martin Petrov converted, but Norwich held out for the tree points.

Early goals from Joey Barton and Alejandro Faurlin eased QPR to a 3-0 victory at lacklustre Wolves.

A late strike by DJ Campbell completed the win as the home fans vented their frustration by booing their team.
