Ola Toivonen is determined to depart PSV Eindhoven this winter after failing to agree new terms with the club.
The 27-year old Swedish striker is out of contract next summer and is keen to exit in January but is aware that the Dutch club may receive a lower fee for his services.
Toivonen, who was close to joining Norwich City in the summer, indicated that he would seek a move away from Eindhoven in the next transfer window.
"It's a question of: how do I get what I want and how to get PSV something for me, the big question remains whether I should leave bite marks or not," he told Fotbollskanalen.
Toivonen, who has scored just one Eredivisie goal in 12 outings this season, is believed to be attracting interest from Newcastle United as well as Portuguese giants Benfica.
