Stoke City have pushed up to seventh on the Premier League table with a 2-0 home win over Fulham today.
The Potters scored two late goals to record their third victory of the campaign whilst ending a three-match winless run as Fulham were unable to add to their brilliant 6-0 defeat of QPR last time out.
Jonathan Walters was the first to hit the target in the 80th minute when he stabbed home Matthew Etherington's attempt before Rory Delap, who had earlier hit the post, headed home past Mark Schwarzer to give Stoke the win with three minutes remaining.
Fulham were close to taking the lead in the 78th minute when John Arne Riise's fiercely struck shot hit the crossbar but the Southwest Londoners eventually caved in to endure their third loss of the campaign which puts them 12th on the table.
