PREMIER LEAGUE: Norwich hold Everton at Goodison Park

Norwich City have managed to hold Everton to a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park this afternoon.

The Canaries, who moved into ninth position on the table, took the lead against the run of play just prior to the half-hour mark when skipper Grant Holt received the ball with his back to goal on the edge of the six-yard box. He then turned amidst a group of Toffees defenders to slot home past Tim Howard with his left foot for his seventh of the season.

Everton were extremely lucky not to breach John Ruddy and his defence on more occasions than one but they were able to score the equalizing goal less than ten minutes from time through Leon Osman. Royston Drenthe made a dangerous run at goal before unleashing a goalbound effort which took a deflection off an unsuspecting Osman and into the back of the net past Ruddy.

The Toffees were not without their chances to score either side of their leveler as David Moyes' side, who dropped to 14th, continues to struggle in front of goal.

TRIBAL ASKS: Apart from Landon Donovan, does Moyes need to bring in more attacking class at Everton in January? Are Norwich now every chance to avoid relegation?
