Paul Scholes has slammed the quality of the top teams in the English Premier League.
?The Manchester United legend was critical of Chelsea after their elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.
?Scholes also suggested that perhaps Arsenal, who trail 3-1 to Monaco, and Manchester City, who are 2-1 down to Barcelona, will exit the competition after the return legs next week.
?'It has the potential to be a bleak seven days for the Premier League, with Chelsea already out of the Champions League and Arsenal and Manchester City both chasing defeats from their first legs, in Monaco and Barcelona next week,' wrote Scholes in his column for the London Evening Standard.
?'We might have the most exciting league in the world but the quality at the very top end does not compare with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and PSG.'???
