Leicester City have returned to the top of the Premier League table courtesy of a 2-1 victory over Chelsea at the King Power Stadium.
The Foxes scored either side of the break to secure their 10th win of the season which sees them move two points above Arsenal and back to the summit of England's top flight.
It was the usual suspects for Claudio Ranieri's men with Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez on the scoresheet yet again before the home side had to do plenty of defending late after Blues substitute Loic Remy had given the visitors some hope.
The opener came on 34 minutes when Mahrez provided a delightful ball to allow Vardy to sneak in behind John Terry and ahead of Kurt Zouma to slide a volley past Thibaut Courtois for his 15th of the season.
Leicester then went two ahead three minutes into the second half when Mahrez dazzled and danced his way around an uncertain Cesar Azpilicueta before producing a lovely curling effort inside Courtois' far post to notch his 11th of the campaign.
Jose Mourinho's Chelsea side began to regain some confidence in the second half and went on the attack in a bid to save the game which resulted in Remy getting on the end of Pedro's pinpoint delivery from the left to nod past Kasper Schmeichel.
That set up a grandstand finish in the East Midlands but Leicester were able to keep Chelsea at bay to make it nine unbeaten since their defeat to the Gunners in September.
For last season's champions Chelsea, it just goes from bad to worse as they drop to 16th after a ninth defeat of their title defence.
