Burnley are keeping tabs on Aston Villa midfielder Ashley Westwood, according to the Daily Mail.
The Clarets currently sit at the top of the Championship table with two games left in the season and have already started preparing for life in the top flight.
Meanwhile, Villa will be plying their trade in the Championship next season and are expected to let go of several key players in the summer.
Westwood, 26, signed for Villa in a £2million move from Crewe Alexandra in June 2012 and has continually improved in the Premier League since arriving at Villa Park which makes him an attractive prospect for the Clarets.
