PREMIER LEAGUE: All square as Reading and Fulham play out six-goal thriller

Reading and Fulham have played out an entertaining 3-3 draw at the Madejski Stadium this afternoon.

The Cottagers led on two occasions after going behind early but the Royals were able to produce a late equaliser to get something from their home fixture even it was only a solitary point.

Mikele Leigertwood, 2835 days after his last Premier League goal, opened the scoring with a sublime finish in the 26th minute when he fired home Jobi McAnuff's clever pass from 20 yards.

The scoreline remained at 1-0 until the 61st minute when Bryan Ruiz traded passes with Damien Duff before smashing a well-struck effort past Alex McCarthy.

Fulham defender Chris Baird made it two goals in his last two outings just over ten minutes from time when he headed home Ruiz's corner before Reading equalised through Garath McCleary who slotted home from close range five minutes from time.

It was then Fulham's time to again go ahead courtesy of Dimitar Berbatov who produced an elegant go-ahead goal but the Royals were determined to take something from the contest and managed to do so thanks to Hal Robson-Kanu's 90th minute leveller.

The draw has Reading sitting 18th on the table with four draws and four losses from their eight outings whilst Fulham edged past London rivals Tottenham into sixth place.

Reading: 3 (Mikele Leigertwood 26', Garath McCleary 85', Hal Robson-Kanu 90') Fulham: 3 (Bryan Ruiz 61', Chris Baird 77', Dimitar Berbatov 88')
