Everton boss Roberto Martinez was glowing in his appraisal of a trio of his players in the wake of Monday night's victory over West Bromwich Albion.
The Toffees came from two goals down to produce a 3-2 result at The Hawthorns with Gerard Deulofeu, Romelu Lukaku and Arouna Kone all central to the triumph.
Spanish winger Deulofeu starred with two assists, Belgian striker Lukaku was the hero with a brace including the winner and Ivorian attacker Kone was also on the scoresheet as Everton continued their bright beginning to the season.
Martinez said of the trio: "Gerard had two fantastic assists. He's now got the understanding of what the team needs. He deserved his start today.
"You look at our goals, Kone was clinical when he came on as a substitute and Rom was a different player in the second half."
