Sunderland manager Gus Poyet is eager to get more signings through the front door.
Poyet's men will travel to the Midlands with a number of fresh faces within their ranks, with Jack Rodwell, Billy Jones, Jordi Gomez, Costel Pantilimon and Patrick van Aanholt completing moves to the Stadium of Light.
Poyet said in the Sunderland Echo: "Yes.
"I don't want to say how many, because people will throw it back at me, but I am expecting more signings before the season starts.
"There's no more news just yet though. We are still working on it.
"We are still a week away and the days go past quite quickly.
"I hope we can have some more news very soon."
