While teammates prepared for their Champions League showdown with Olympiacos, £30 million striker Andriy Shevchenko captained Chelsea reserves in front of a couple hundred people in their win over Reading last night.

However, Shevchenko wasn't on his own in the victory, with senior teammates Tal Ben Haim, Claudio Pizarro and Steve Sidwell also playing the 90 minutes.
