Angel Gomes made his Manchester United U18 debut in their 4-2 defeat to Middlesbrough.

The 14 year-old Portuguese midfielder was a second-half substitute.

Gomes is the son of former pro Gil Gomes, who played for Salford City and won the U20 World Cup with Portugal alongside Luis Figo.

The youngster signed official papers with United back in May 2014.
