Portsmouth wing-back Matt Taylor rates today's opponents Liverpool as Premiership favourites.

He said: "I think they are on fire at the moment. Of the top teams in the division which you always want to test yourself against, Liverpool have already proved they are one of them.

"I can't see any reason now why they can't return to their former heights in the league. My tip at the start of the season was Liverpool to win the league.

"They are steeped in tradition and although they haven't won the title for a long time they've won the Champions League under the present manager and reached the final again last season.

"But I think they want to get back to the top in the league like they were in the seventies and eighties and I think it would be great for them if they did."
