Niko Kranjcar says there's subtle differences between Portsmouth boss Tony Adams and predecessor Harry Redknapp.
Kranjcar, who has ruled out a January exit from Fratton Park, explained there is now a greater emphasis being placed on how the team is set up.
But he added there had been no sweeping revolution since Adams took over the helm.
Kranjcar said: "There hasn't been a drastic change. We all expected him to do different things to what the previous manager did.
"It is all on the team shape and how he wants us to play rather than the individual.
"He approaches things in his own way."
