Portsmouth midfielder Niko Kranjcar doesn't expect to follow Harry Redknapp to Tottenham in January.

The Croatia international said: "I do not think too much about this [whether Redknapp will try and sign him]. There are still two months until the winter transfer window. And it's not even sure that talks will start about this transfer.

"It's too early to talk about these things but I believe I will be playing for Portsmouth until the end of the season.

"In the last two years, we have shown we can compete for the Uefa Cup. We are right behind the big four. I am sure we will again end the season in the top half of The Premier League.

"We belong there if you look at our team."
