Portsmouth are threatening Manchester City's deal for Chelsea defender Tal Ben Haim.
The People says the defender, who was left out of the Blues' Far East tour, wants a five year contract matching his £65,000-a-week wages.
City have tabled a four-year deal offering £5,000 less. Portsmouth are waiting in the wings.
