Portsmouth move for West Brom pair Fortune, Robinson on-hold

Portsmouth are holding off their bid for West Brom pair Paul Robinson and Marc-Antoine Fortune.

The Sunday Mercury says moves for the pair will be put on the back-burner until the Portsmouth's proposed takeover by an Arab billionaire is completed.

Robinson, who has made it known he does not want to return to the Championship, and Fortune, who impressed at Albion during his loan spell from Nancy, are both said to be on Pompey's radar but an approach may not come until after Sulaiman Al Fahim and his investment vehicle Al Fahim Asia Associates (AAA) complete the purchase of Pompey and finally settle the managerial situation at the club.
