Portsmouth are attempting to secure young Aussie Ryan Williams to a new contract.

The People says Portsmouth want to sign Aussie winger Williams, 17, on a new deal - to keep him from Premier League clutches.

Pompey are keen to keep Williams, who has played for the first team, but Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are on alert.
