Portsmouth have a deal in place for Romania midfielder Razvan Cocis.
The Daily Mail says the 26-year-old, who had a medical over the weekend at the south coast club, has agreed a £12,000-a-week deal.
The versatile attacking midfielder, who can also play up front, left Lokomotiv Moscow when his contract expired on January 1.
Cocis turned down offers from Italian strugglers Atalanta, German side Eintracht Frankfurt and clubs in the United Arab Emirates. The move will be rubberstamped once Pompey's transfer ban is lifted.
