Portsmouth could learn today if their bid for Udinese midfielder Christian Obodo has been successful.

The Nigeria international is the subject of a £4 million offer from Pompey, says Sport, while Espanyol want to sign the midfielder on-loan.

Obodo would prefer a move to Spain, but Pompey's money could be the clincher for Udinese with the player's contract expiring in June.
