Portland Timbers are in talks with 1860 Munich striker Kenny Cooper about a return home.
Former Manchester United forward Cooper has been made available by 1860 Munich and is expected to join the new MLS outfit, says Kicker.
Cooper's agent has also confirmed talks have opened with the Timbers.
The striker spent part of last season on-loan in England at Plymouth Argyle.
