Portland Timbers head coach Caleb Porter suggests the club could still sign Mikael Silvestre despite him no longer being with the squad.
The former Manchester United, Arsenal and France defender had been training with the Timbers up until the end of last week and is now with Seattle Sounders but Porter says there is still the possibility of him suiting up for Portland in 2013.
"We'll be looking at our options and looking at his situation and making a decision shortly," Porter said.
"I'm not sure we're done with him. We'll be making a decision in the next couple of days."
