Portland Timbers have extended the contracts of a quartet of key players.

Attacking midfielder Darlington Nagbe, goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts, central midfielder Diego Chara and winger Khalif Alhassan have al penned new deals with the Timbers.

Montreal Impact in August last year, 27-year old Colombian Chara joined from Deportes Tolima in April 2011 and 22-year old Ghanaian Alhassan has been with the club since they were in the USL in 2010.
