Port Vale boss Rob Page is delighted with their deal for Hull City striker Greg Luer.

Page hailed the signing as a further chance to aid Luer's development.

"It's a great opportunity for us to bring him in," Page told the club's official website.

"Speaking to (City's academy boss) Tony Pennock, they have invested in Greg and believe he has real potential.

"He's an athletic lad with pace so he gives us a different option and he's a great addition to the squad."
