Pogatetz to join Glasner at Palace

Incoming Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner is revamping the club's backroom staff.

One of the moves that Glasner is making may surprise many Premier League fans.

He is set to appoint Emanuel Pogatetz as one of the first team coaches, per The Mail.

Pogatetz, an ex-Middlesbrough and West Ham United player, has been coaching for several years.

He has worked at FC Juniors OO, LASK Linz and SKN St Polten, having been a coach since 2019.

On arrival, new boss Glasner said: "I am very happy to join Crystal Palace F.C. as manager.

"I am looking forward to working with the talented squad, meeting the club's supporters and experiencing the Selhurst Park atmosphere I have heard so much about.

"It has been a pleasure to meet with Steve (Parish) and Dougie (Freedman), and I am looking forward to working with them to achieve our goals."
