Pochettino has bad news for Tottenham pair Lennon and Adebayor but Soldado remains

Tottenham manager Emmanuel Adebayor admits Aaron Lennon and Emmanuel Adebayor will play no part at the club this season.

Winger Lennon spent part of last season on loan with Everton and is unlikely to feature for Spurs this term while striker Adebayor, who is believed to be stalling a loan move to Aston Villa, is also not in the plans of Pochettino.

After his side beat AC Milan 2-0 on Wednesday night to claim third place in the 2015 Audi Cup in Munich, the Argentine was asked about the attacking pair, indicating that they will have to find new homes in order to play regularly in 2015/16.

Pochettino also commented on Spanish striker Roberto Soldado, who has been heavily linked with a transfer to Villarreal recently.

"I think they (Adebayor and Lennon) are OK but they are not in my plans," said Pochettino.

"They know the situation - we have spoken with them and it's no problem.

"Soldado is in my plans but he did not come here because there was a problem with his back - but he is in our plans."
