Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino says the club has asked too much of Enzo Fernandez.
Pochettino insists the midfielder's adaptation has been far from easy.
He explained: "He has the ability to organise and due to his physical ability he can come from the second line and manage the spaces between the lines. He can build and help the defensive line and gain metres and reach the opponent's area.
"When he arrived at a club that does not have consistency in it's game, that made it impossible for him to adapt, coming from spending a few months at Benfica, going to the World Cup and the Premier League. He arrived at a team that was not working and he had to be the solution, and it is not easy."
