Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino hopes to repeat the academy success he experienced with Southampton. Danny Rose, Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb, Andros Townsend and Harry Kane have all advanced through the age-group sides to the first-team squad - and Pochettino is confident there are many more to come.
He said: "The young players here are of a similar standard to Southampton's, only we need to take time to give them the chance to play. At Southampton, they give the youngsters the possibility to play and that is the difference.
"Tottenham have spent a lot of money on the academy and creating a magnificent training ground and now we need to get the benefit from that. We have to create the structure to provide the chance to play in the first team.
"We have great talent in the academy, the staff are unbelievable people who work very hard and who have a passion for football. We need to give the vehicle for these young players to arrive in the first team."
