Plenty of improvement to come - Juventus' Del Neri

Juventus boss Luigi Del Neri admits his side needs to improve rapidly after some poor results.

The Old Lady were held to a 3-3 draw by Sampdoria on Monday and although there were some positive signs, Del Neri asked for further improvement to help his side's title chances.

"I am happy, particularly with the intensity in the second half," said Del Neri.

"We created chances but also made mistakes. At this stage of the season this is acceptable and mistakes aid improvement.

"In comparison to the game at Bari we have improved but we know there is still much to do.

"I would like to see a more ruthless Juve team which reads situations better. But if we manage to keep up the intensity we saw in the second half we can move up a gear and soon see the true Juve."
