Miralem Pjanic was delighted for AS Roma teammate Kevin Strootman over his winning comeback yesterday.
For victory over Torino, Strootman made his return eight months after a serious knee ligament injury ruled him out of the World Cup.
Pjanic said: "The return of Strootman? We had no luck with injuries at the start of the season, we are happy with the return of Kevin.
"He's a great midfielder, was out for a long time and deserves the affection of the fans.
"For us he is an important player."
