Andrea Pirlo is surprised Juventus teammate Carlos Tevez has been snubbed by Argentina.

Tevez isn't at the World Cup after falling out with Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella.

Italy midfielder Pirlo said: "If I were Coach of Argentina, I would've certainly called Tevez based on what he did with Juventus this season.

"Would I advise him on his free kicks? Yes, not to bother taking them! There isn't room..."
