Kalvin Phillips admits he may leave Manchester City in January.
The midfielder started in last night's Euros qualifying win against Italy which saw England confirmed as Euro2024 participants.
However, Phillips admits his place in Germany will be in jeopardy unless his playing chances improve at City.
He said, "I know that I need to be playing games and competing every weekend.
"I'm going to have to make a decision on [my future] over the next months."
Phillips also said: "He [Gareth Southgate, England coach] just says that for me to keep my spot I have to be playing games.
"That's what I want to do. I have agreed with Gareth on that."
