Jimmy McLaughlin has become the third Philadelphia Union player in the past few weeks to head to Europe for a winter training stint.
brotherlygame.com reports that the 19-year old midfielder is currently with German Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim where he will gain experience until November 21.
McLaughlin joins goalkeeper Zac MacMath who is with Everton and Cristhian Hernandez who is training with Spanish club Real Sociedad.
McLaughlin is the Union's second ever Homegrown Player signing who was added to Philly's squad prior to the 2012 season.
